At the time of his arrest Thursday afternoon, Michael James Prince, 32, was found in possession of approximately 55 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of marijuana extract, two dosage units of oxycodone, five dosage units of hydrocodone, smoking pipes, a marijuana grinder and a digital scale.

His arrest occurred in the 2000 block of Highway 301 in the Weldon area shortly after 2 p.m., Captain A.M. Harris said in a statement.

The sheriff’s office went to the location seeking Prince, who had outstanding drug warrants.

Harris said agents had received several citizen complaints about several people walking to this residence and vehicles going there all times of the day and night.
