The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Lieutenant Morgan Worrell:
Vehicle break-in
Police are currently investigating a vehicle break-in that occurred in the area of Chase Avenue in the early morning hours of June 8.
Several yard tools were stolen.

A person of interest was seen on a personal camera system in the general area of this crime.
Anyone who lives in the area who has cameras is encouraged to check for any activity around the date of this offense for suspicious activity.
Fishing lure larceny
Police are currently investigating a larceny of fishing lures that occurred on June 6 at a business located on Premier Boulevard.
