Council OKs River Towne Villas project

Roanoke Rapids City Council this evening unanimously approved a rezoning request to accommodate a multi-family housing unit on the West Becker Drive Extension.

A proposed skateboard park could get a big boost if a $125,000 Kate B. Reynolds grant is approved, Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Director John Simeon told city council this evening.
