Reputed heroin trafficker targeted in Bullseye

Three people served warrants this week in Operation Bullseye include a Scotland Neck man in custody in Pitt County for heroin trafficking.

In Bullseye, according to Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp, Damien Terrel Little, 25, of Grace Street, was served warrants for possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell marijuana, and deliver marijuana.

Tripp said the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force seized 1,100 bindles of heroin during its investigation of Little in January.

He was given a $2 million bond at the time of his arrest. His bond for the Bullseye charges was $10,000 and he has a July 22 court date in Halifax.

Others served warrants this week in the undercover, street-level campaign were:

Jeffrey Alston Jr., 25, of Greenwood Street, Scotland Neck, for two counts each of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell marijuana, and deliver marijuana.

Alston was given a $12,000 secured bond with a July 22 court date.

Percy Martin, 26, of Holly Road, Halifax, for possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, sell cocaine, and deliver cocaine.

Martin was given a $10,000 secured bond with a July 22 court date.

He was also served with an outstanding Halifax County order for arrest for a misdemeanor probation violation and was given an additional $2,000 bond.

The investigations were conducted by City County Drug Task Force Task Force Lieutenant H.G. Phillips and Agent D.R. Radford.

Additional arrests are pending.
