Not 1 or 2 or 3, but 4.

Rising Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jacket softball Senior Brianna Allen had a normal weekend on

the diamond.

Allen plays travel softball for the Triangle Lighting team based out of Raleigh NC. This past

weekend her love for the softball diamond took her and her family to Raleigh for the  “ASA

Carolina Cardinals Classic College Showcase” tournament.

The Lighting team played five games winning two. Allen had 8 RBI’s bating average of .500

and on base percentage of .416. Her strong point though was the four over the fence home-runs.

Like most summer weekends, Allen and her family will hit the road to Burlington for the “ASA

Summer Showcase” tournament (hosted by Greensboro College).
