Halo's beat Stewards in minor league opening game

The Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association opened it's 2014 Minor and Major League season Monday night.

 

In the Minor League division the Halo's (Roanoke valley Energy) beat the Stewards (Spring Leaf Financial) 15-1.

Chase Nelson and Drew Williams pitched for the Halo's in the win.

Nelson scored 3 runs, Nathan Watts, Jacob Calhoun and Ethan Rogers scoring twice for the Halo's.

Tyler Mayle scored the one run for the Stewards.
