The 9U Roanoke Valley Fishers travel baseball team played a 10U division of the Capital City Hardball Classic Sunday. No other U9 teams had signed up and coaches chose to play up in the U10 division.

In the first game they beat the 10U Varina Vipers (out of Fuquay Varina) and in game two they lost to the 10U Truth Baseball (out of Wake Forest).

This was the first FALL Season tournament of the year for the 9U Fishers who went 1 and 1 on the day and finished 2nd in the tournament.
