Morgan Medford a 2013 graduate for Hobgood Academy, now a freshman at NC State University recently started her college softball career as a member of the PACK.  Medford is one of the twenty players making up the 2013 softball team for STATE. Medford from Whitakers, will play the catcher or third base positions.

Medford has had an all-state career at Hobgood and has played travel softball for the Raleigh based Triangle Lighting. Medford is the fourth Lightning alum to play for the Pack, and first to play for Pack new head coach Shawn Rychik and staff.
