Woman charged with larceny by employee

An Enfield woman was charged Thursday with larceny by employee, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Lieutenant Rich Somogyi said Deputy Bobby Hedgepeth's investigation revealed that Darlene Rudd'Drake allegedly took a small amount of merchandise from her employer over a short period of time.

Rudd'Drake received a $1,000 bond and has an August 28 court date.
