Bad Weather Suspended the last baseball game of the regular season in Senior League last night at Ledgerwood Park between the Yankees and the Orioles. But more is at stake than just a win. The winner will be Co-Champions with the Rockies but more important to some is who will be in the running for the Head coaching job for the U15 All-Stars.

In Baseball, the choice is it is offered to the coach who wins the season first, then down the standings. Wilton Rogerson's team the Rockies are in first place and the winner of this game will tie his record and be co-champions. Well everyone will have to wait alittle longer.

Wednesday night's game was in the top of the fifth with score Yankees 6 Orioles 5. Yankees were home team and the Visistors were the Orioles and were at bat with one out and runners on 1st and 3rd. Thirty minutes left in the game clock and only two outs from being a complete game by the rules. Then Mother Nature came into play with lightening and the kids were called off the field and the game suspended.

Play will resume tonight pending weather between 5:15 and 6 p.m. at Ledgerwood, just where the game was suspended.
