Roanoke Valley U10 All-stars won thier first game in the Ahoskie Inventational tournament 10-4 against Jamesville in Ahoskie Thursday night. Eight teams are shooting for the trophy this weekend 

Stacy Mumford pitched 4 innings giving up 2 runs on 3 hits and struck out 6. Landon Wollet pitched 2 innings giving up 2 runs on 1 hit and struck out 3.

Offensive leaders were Caleb Elias 3 hits Stacy Mumford 2 hits and Josh Miller and Bennett Liverman with a hit each. Roanoke Valley plays the winner of the Ahoskie vs Washington on Saturday at 6 pm.
