City County Drug Task Force agents Wednesday served three search warrants, two on Duke Street and one on Roanoke Avenue.

The search warrants were all based on complaints of marijuana transactions.
Captain A.M. Harris said a search warrant served at 121 Duke Street was based on complaints of traffic coming in and out of the neighborhood off Vine Street and staying for only a short amount of time.
The 121 Duke Street address was the second search warrant served in the neighborhood. A search warrant was served earlier at 105 Duke Street.
Children played on a swing attached to a tree or kicked a ball around as agents went about the task of collecting evidence.
At the first Duke Street residence, agents seized marijuana and items of paraphernalia.
Harris arrested Raymond Price, 55, for an outstanding order for arrest. He received a $1,000 bond and June 9 court date.
He also obtained a warrant for the arrest of Darius Dewayne Lewter, 28, for possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
In the second Duke Street search warrant agents seized marijuana paraphernalia.
The investigation was conducted by Agent C.A. Parker, who cited Marcus Amaz Lewter, 33, for possession of paraphernalia. He has a June 21 court date.
The Duke Street warrants were served between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Roanoke Rapids and Weldon police assisted, with Weldon Sergeant T.L. Mason using his dog Rio.
Shortly before 8 p.m., the task force served a search warrant on Roanoke Avenue and seized paraphernalia.
Agent D.R. Radford conducted the investigation and cited Jeanette Teresa Smith, 53, with a North Carolina Uniform Citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and Arthur Edward Johnson, 34, for possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce.
Smith and Johnson have June 21 court dates.
Radford obtained a warrant for the arrest of Antonio Johnson, 33, for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
