The man, Wilson Ray Richardson, 23, of Nashville, reportedly groped two women at Walmart on January 23, Captain Bobby Martin said.
In a statement Martin said officers responded to Sheetz shortly after 4:15 p.m. after receiving a report of a person matching the description of the alleged suspect.
Detectives G.L.Williams and C. Babb and Officer P. Smith responded to investigate and Richardson was arrested without trouble.
Williams charged Richardson with two counts of sexual battery.
He received a $2,000 secured bond and March 1 court date.
