The agents went to Gordon Drive and observed Harris, 27, on the front porch around 3 p.m..
Harris jumped off the porch and ran around the house. He was caught after a brief foot chase and deployment of the stun gun by Dixon.
Harris was served with two Halifax County orders for arrest issued last August.
Warrants were obtained by Officer Jeffrey Mason of the police department for resisting arrest and driving while license revoked.
Detective J.M. Clark of the sheriff's office obtained warrants for two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of injury to real property, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
Harris was also served with a fugitive warrant from Virginia for grand larceny.
Dixon charged Harris with resisting a public officer from the chase.
Harris was jailed without opportunity for bond for the Virginia fugitive warrant and a total $50,800 secured bond for the two local arrest warrants.
Harris has an August 19 first court appearance.
