The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is conducting what Lieutenant Shane Guyant said is a homicide investigation involving the death of a 19-year-old Hollister man Friday night.

Around 8:30 p.m. deputies responded to the end of Evans Farm Road in the Hollister area after receiving information of a death.

Deputies located Quincy Mills, who was found deceased in his vehicle.

The man’s family was notified and detectives continue to follow leads in the case.

Guyant declined to immediately discuss the means of death in the case.

He said the family was notified.
