Halifax headed to State Championship to face Northeast-Hobgood

The #1 seed Halifax Academy and the #2 seed Northeast-Hobgood are headed to the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) 8 man football 1A State Championship.

The #1 seed Halifax Academy beat #4 Bethel Christian 46-20 Friday night.

Offense:

Jared Byrum had 16 carries for 304 yards and 4 TD's.

Donovyn Gary had 5 carries for 103 yards and 2 TD's.

Cameron Podruchny had 2 carries for 18 yards.

Harrison Hardee had 1 carry for 4 yards and a TD.
