Jarret Williamson, 2016 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School, suffered life threating injuries while working on a farm on July 18.

Jarret, who has been in a Norfolk hospital since the accident, has already undergone three surgeries, and though he is fighting hard and improving daily, he has at least two more surgeries in his future.

Williamson's road to recovery will be a long one.

Jarret’s mom, Melissa has been by his side from the start of the ordeal, and their costs are mounting.

Shannon Warren is heading up the fundraiser. If you are willing to help in any way, please text her at 252-326-9318 or private message her on Facebook.

DIRT Ministries is hosting and cooking and there will be a BBQ lunch bag sale on September 14 from 11:00-1:30 at Pro Build in Roanoke Rapids. Plates are $8 donation and include two BBQ Sandwiches, slaw, and chips.

A raffle benefitting Jarret will also be held the day of the event. Tickets prices will be determined by the value of the items they have donated.
