The 2024 NCHSAA State Football Championship following local teams results

KIPP Pride and Weldon are only two Roanoke Valley football teams that advance to 2nd round in the NCHSAA playoffs. 

1A schedule 

#14 KIPP Pride beat #19 West Columbus  30-14 to advance to 2nd round.

#14 KIPP Pride will travel to  #3 Wilson Prep

#16 Weldon beat #17 Lejeune 14-7 to advance to 2nd round. 
#16 Weldon will travel to #1 Tarboro 

#18 Southeast Halifax lost to #15 East Bladen 37-12

#23 Northampton lost to #10 Lakewood 56-6

#25 Northwest Halifax lost to #8 Perquimans 56-8.
