Northeast/Hobgood Acdemy 8-man football team beat Halifax Academy Saturday afternoon to win their second NCISAA Division II State football championship.

Northeast/Hobgood beat Halifax 40-18 at Halifax. Halifax gave Northeast/Hobgood their only loss of the season early in the regular season match-up and this win Saturday gave Halifax thier only loss tf the season.
