Police seek leads in late night B&E

Roanoke Rapids police are looking for leads in a breaking and entering in which shots were fired late Sunday night.

The turn of Hurricane Florence has made for minimal impacts in the Roanoke Valley, officials said.

The city has amended its state of emergency proclamation issued Wednesday and lifted a curfew, prohibition of alcohol sales and restrictions on possession, transportation and transfer of weapons and substances.
