Chief Tyree Davis reported Detective Graham Page Thursday arrested Jeryl Jones, 47, of Enfield, on outstanding warrants.
The investigation started when the victim filed a complaint Jones failed to do the agreed upon work on their vehicle.
Page determined the victim’s vehicle and $1,600 were left with Jones for more than five months so he could do the work.
Page located the victim’s vehicle in the backyard of another person’s residence and only half the work was performed. The detective learned no work was performed since September.
Page obtained warrants on Jones for two counts of obtaining property under false pretense.
He received a $2,500 bond.
Davis reported Page and Corporal Shatel Coates Thursday responded to a residence on North Dennis Street for a medical assistance call.

On January 11 Page responded to the same residence, where Barnes was on the front porch causing a disturbance. The same order against her was active.
Officers learned there was no medical emergency, and Page again placed Barnes under arrest for violation of the order.
She was transported to the magistrate’s office and was ordered to jail without opportunity for bond.
