It is an exciting time in our Roanoke Rapids Graded School District (RRGSD) as we kick off 2025 with energy and enthusiasm!
As our Roanoke Rapids Graded School District returns from the holiday season and steps into the new year, we hope all of our students, staff, families, and community had a joyful and restful break.
The holiday spirit was alive and well in our Roanoke Rapids Graded School District during the last week of classes as much of our district leadership team and I continued one of my favorite traditions: Delivering Christmas gifts to every staff member and spreading festive cheer to our students.
In the coming days and weeks, trees will be thrown in alleys or boxed up and placed in storage; decorations will be returned to the attic; the remnants of wrapping paper placed in the rollouts; and bigger boxes, like some trees, will also find their way to the alleys or curbs.
Last Friday the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District once again celebrated the holiday season with its second annual Christmas at the Castle.
