Margaret Page Anderson, 88, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. 

She was born July 8, 1934 in Roanoke Rapids, daughter of the late Clyde Page and Bettie Miller Page. 

Margaret was the wife of the late Rev. Austin A. Anderson.

She graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School. 

Margaret earned a BS from Atlanta Christian College in Georgia with a double major in Bible and music, and an MA in School Counseling as well a certificate in Education Administration from NC Central University. 

She received her teacher certification in English at NC Wesleyan College and East Carolina University. 

For more than 40 years she worked as an educator in Eastern North Carolina.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Austin Ames Anderson, Jr., and his wife Sandra Sauls of Conway; daughter, Judy Anderson Schmidt, and her husband Paul of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Courtney Anderson Manning and her husband Wayne of Momeyer; Stanley Ames Anderson and his wife, Jenna of Conway; great grandchildren Davis Manning, Charlotte Manning, Noah Anderson, Austin James Anderson, and Lexie Jane Anderson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Fountain of Life Church of God of Prophecy, 900 Wilkins Street, Rocky Mount, NC.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
