James Wallace “Jamie” Bryant, 43, of Clemmons, NC passed away Saturday, May 16th at his home.
Jamie was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, the son of James Steven “Steve” Bryant and the late Connie Edwards Bryant. He was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Bryant, and paternal grandparents, Foyd and Ida Bryant.
Jamie was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother and was loved by many.
He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone. He loved helping others and always had a listening ear.
Jamie was always the life of the party, enjoyed his heavy metal music, had an amazing sense of humor and loved spending time with close friends and family.
He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking on his grill, exploring the creek, playing ball and going to the pool.
Being at the beach with his family was his happy place.
He adored his sons and was an amazing father. He touched many lives and will be lovingly remembered by many.
In addition to his father Steve, he is survived by his wife and best friend, Amanda Mahathey Bryant, together for 21 years and married for 13 years, as well as his beloved sons, Zachary James and Dylan Michael of the home. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Wallace and Mary Edwards, sister, Michelle Bryant, nephews, Jeffrey Mason, Bradley (Kayla) Mason, Hayden Woolard and niece, Brianna Woolard all of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
A graveside service will be held for all family and friends at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC with Pastor Richard Williford at 2 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for his sons, Zachary and Dylan at any State Employees Credit Union.
