Tracy Carlton Qualls, Jr., 88, died Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. 

Carlton was born in Halifax County, September 16, 1931, to the late Tracy and Ethel Harris Qualls. 

He was a veteran and proudly served his country with the United States Army.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years Mary Ann Williams Qualls of the home; daughter, Cynthia Ethel Qualls, son, Tracy Carlton Qualls III, and wife, Frances all of Hollister, his daughter, Lou Ann Qualls Wollett and husband, Art, of Wake Forest, son Thomas Patrick Williams Qualls and wife, Jen, of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren, Thomas Carlton Qualls and husband, Jeremy, Sarah Wollett Midgette, and husband, Justin, Aaron Wollett, Zach Wollett, Christian Wollett, Trace Wollett, Kendall Qualls, Hunt Qualls, and Avery Qualls. Also surviving are his great granddaughters Everly and Delaney Midgette and Anna Marie Qualls.

Pastor Ed West and Rev. Roy Porter assisted by Rev. Kevin Qualls will conduct funeral services at Harris Chapel Baptist Church on Thursday, January 9th at 2:00 pm. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 12:30 pm also at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
