The ECU North Health Cancer Care Clinic and Mammography Department are sponsoring a free breast cancer screening event on October 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The clinic is reaching out to people in the community who would not otherwise be able to get a mammogram such as people with no insurance, are in the poverty level, have not had a mammogram in over a year, and are 40 and older.

This is a free event.
The clinic will be held in Building One at ECU Health North Hospital — the education room — located at 210 Smith Church Road.
For those seeking to know if they qualify call 252-535-8241 and they will be given an appointment for a breast exam and mammogram.
