Timber Waters Brewery, the newest addition to the Littleton community, is celebrating its grand opening Friday at noon with a ribbon cutting hosted by both the Lake Gaston and Roanoke Valley chambers of commerce.

The modern brewery and tap room is located in the heart of downtown Littleton.

Brewmaster Kyle Rakosky has crafted a lineup of flagship beers using North Carolina ingredients that capture the spirit of the lakeside community:

Nose Cone - Hazy IPA

Cold Soak - West Coast IPA

Wobble Wobble - Guava Sour

Ponton - Pilsner

Spincast - Honey Blonde

Porfa - Mexican Style Lager

In addition to these year-round offerings, Timber Waters features specialty brews like Oatmeal Stout, Red IPA, Saison, and Seltzers, as well as future seasonal selections.

“Beyond crafting exceptional beers, Timber Waters Brewery stands as a purpose-driven enterprise dedicated to the community,” said Les Atkins, director of communications and community engagement for El Brio Shores LLC. “After brewing, the spent grains are donated to local farms. These nutrient-rich grains are used for animal feed, soil enrichment, and compost. This process is another way the brewery supports North Carolina agriculture.  In addition, all net proceeds from the brewery's operations will directly support education in the community through Littleton Academy.”

Developer Ed Fitts said, "Timber Waters is a promise to our community. When you enjoy one of our beers, know that you're contributing to a child's education and helping shape the future of our unique town."

Timber Waters Brewery will be open Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon  to 7 p.m.
