The Historic Halifax State Historic Site is holding its Yuletide by Lanternlight evening program on Friday, December 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be an interactive holiday-themed tour of candle-lit historic buildings.
Costumed guides will lead visitors through homes decorated with all-natural décor.
This year’s featured sites will be the Colonial Courthouse site, the Clerk’s Office, the Burgess Law Office, the Tap Room Tavern, the Owens House, and the Bradford-Denton House.

Light refreshments will be offered in the Bradford-Denton House kitchen.
Visitors can expect their tour to last approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets are $20 plus tax per person.
Tickets are available through eventbrite.com or can be purchased at the Historic Halifax Visitors Center during regular business hours.
