Roanoke Rapids police are looking for a Rich Square woman who Saturday damaged a drive-through window and threw a hot beverage at an employee working inside.

The victim is OK, Chief Shane Guyant said.

Around 9:30 a.m. officers responded to a restaurant in the 1600 block of Julian R. Allsbrook Highway after the hold-up alarm was triggered.

Master Officer C. Majette learned Britney Nicole Flythe, 32, had assaulted an employee by aggressively pulling open a locked drive-through window, causing damage.

Guyant said surveillance footage shows Flythe throwing a hot beverage at the employee.

Warrants are outstanding for Flythe’s arrest on charges of felony breaking and entering to terrorize, simple assault, and injury to property.

Flythe left the scene prior to the police department's arrival.
