The Historic Halifax State Historic Site will be having a new volunteer orientation on Saturday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the visitor center located at 25 St. David Street in Halifax.

The site is currently seeking volunteers who are interested in giving tours of historic buildings and demonstrating 18th Century living history skills.  

Due to increasing visitation, Historic Halifax will need additional weekend and holiday volunteers.  

The orientation will allow those interested in volunteering to come out to meet the current staff and volunteers, take a guided tour of the site, and start training to be a volunteer.
