The monthly general membership meeting of Roanoke Rapids American Legion Post 38 at 717 American Legion Road will be held Monday at 6 p.m.

Grilled steak, baked potato, salad, dinner roll and Jan's Fabulous Cake will be served.  

The highlights of the business meeting will include an initiation ceremony for newest members, a recognition ceremony of Vietnam Veterans for Vietnam Veterans Day, and nominations for the upcoming elections of new officers.  

Walt Fightmaster will provide preliminary information regarding the post's newest committee for which he is the chairman — the Post Home Exploratory Committee.
