The water boil advisory for the town of Littleton has been lifted.

The town said it planned to do testing today after a boil advisory was issued Wednesday.

The advisory was necessary after a fire hydrant was hit by a vehicle causing it to break from the main and drain the elevated storage tank Wednesday afternoon.

The elevated tank drained completely within 30 minutes after the line break.
