Brandall Coggins, a rising Roanoke Rapids High School senior, has been selected by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to attend NC Governor's School 2022.
Coggins is one of 700 selected out of more than 1,700 students who applied to attend the highly competitive six-week summer residential program.
The North Carolina Governor's School is the oldest statewide summer residential program for high school students in the nation.
He will participate in the area of Spanish at the Governor's School West at Winston Salem State University.
He is the son of Mark and Meggan Coggins.
