More than 250 people with a heart to help feed hungry children in the community created and packed 10,000 meals Saturday at Manning Elementary School in Roanoke Rapids along with the national organization Generosity Feeds.
All of the meals will be distributed to children in the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District through its backpack feeding program.
