The state Highway Patrol has handled numerous wrecks today on Interstate 95, none thus far involving injuries.

Trooper M.D. Adair said wrecks began happening once snow started falling in the area, shortly after 7 this morning.

Adair said troopers hope predictions of rain and temperatures above freezing will make roads more passable but the current forecast, he added, “Is hit or miss. It’s best to stay at home.”
