2013 Roanoke Rapids High Yellow Jackets baseball graduate and current UNCW Seahawks left-hand pitcher Clay Lockamon is headed to the NCAA regional college play-offs for the second time as a Seahawk.

The UNCW Seahawks Fell 14-9 to the William and Mary Tribe In CAA Championship this past Sunday in Mount Pleasant South Carolina, but where selected to the 64 team NCAA College play-offs.

UNCW's Clay Lockamon was the tough luck loser as he dipped to 0-2. The lefthander allowed one run on two hits over 3.2 innings.

UNCW dropped to 39-17 and  will be the two-seed and play Duke in the first game of the NCAA Columbia Regional on Friday at 1 p.m. The Seahawks will be making their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance, all since 2003.

Lockamon pitched in nine games this season pitching a total of 12.1 innings with 9 strikeouts and pitched in the 2015 NCAA Regional game against Tulane and retired only batter he faced.

The Seahawks and Blue Devils will join host South Carolina and Atlantic 10 champion Rhode Island in the regional.

 All games in the regional will be streamed on the ESPN 3 platform and all UNCW games will be audio streamed on the Seahawk Digital Network as Mike Vaccaro, the voice of the Seahawks, will bring you all the action from Columbia.
