The Roanoke Rapids JV Jackets baseball team rebounded Thursday with a win after Tuesday's loss to South Granville.

The JV Jackets traveled to the Franklinton Rams Tuesday and earned the win 14-4 in 5 innings.

 

Brandon Collier pitched 1 innings allowing  no runs off of no hits with 3 strike-outs and 3 walks, Jake Van Dam pitch 4 innings allowing 3 runs off of 4 hits with 3 strike-outs and no walks.

 

At the plate for the Jackets: Cameron Medlin had 2 singles and a double with 1 RBI, Jake Van Dam had 3 singles with 3 RBI's,  Cameron Salmon had 2 doubles with 1 RBI, Brandon Collier had 1 single with 1 RBI, Caleb Johnson had 1 single with 1 RBI, Cameron Wilson had 3 singles with 1 RBI, Ethan Gaskins had a single , Aaron Jackson had 1 single with 1 RBI.

 

Post game comments from head coach Tyler Snyder, "We came out swinging. We scored 5 in the first and Jake Van Dam threw strikes. Today was a total team win as everyone contributed in the field and at the plate. This was a great bounce back from our game Tuesday."
