Chelsea's Angels of Progressions Dance Center attended a dance competition last Saturday, and had very successful day!

Progressions Dance Center's results in the Starland Productions Dance Competition in New Bern, NC on March 19th:

The Silver Angels had three team numbers; "Lean On" received a Platinum award in Clogging; "With You" received a Platinum award in Tap; "Never See the End" received a Gold in the Contemporary category in the Recreational Division.

The Gold Angels had 3 team numbers: "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" received Diamond in the Contemporary category and placed 2nd overall in the Large Group Category; "Happy" received Platinum for Tap; and "4 Taylor" received Diamond for Clogging in the Recreational Division, placing 3rd Overall in the Large Group Division.

Soloists who competed were Kendall Qualls, Allie Etheridge, Jordan Moseley, Olivia Kidd, Sydney Connell, Elizabeth Dunlow, Jordan Howell, and Alyssa Baker, receiving 1 Gold, 4 Platinum, and 3 Diamond awards combined.

Elizabeth Dunlow's contemporary solo "For Grandma Betsy" received 3rd Place Overall in the Senior Solo Division.

Elizabeth Dunlow & Sydney Connell's duet "Walkin' on Sunshine" received the Diamond award and placed 3rd Place Overall in the Duet/Trio Senior category.

Elizabeth Dunlow, Sydney Connell, & Alyssa Baker's Clogging Trio "Bills" received the Diamond Award & 1st Place overall in the Duet/Trio Division. "Bills" also won Overall High Score of the Day for the Duet/Trio Category.

This is the second year in a row that Dunlow & Connell have won this award.

In 2015, their Clogging duet "Uptown Funk" won Overall High Score of the Day for the Duet/Trio of the Day.
