The Roanoke valley U17 all-stars went extra innings Sunday morning against Cashie, only to come up short losing 12-9 in eight innings in the Little Tarheel District 7 tournament.

Lauren Oliver pitched the 8 innings with 2 strike-outs and walked 3 batters.

Olivia Brown  went 2-4 with a triple with 3 RBI's.

The girls dropped to the loser bracket and faced Edenton-Chowan with Roanoke Valley coming out on top winning 8-7 and clinched a spot in the Championship game Monday night @ 7:30 against Cashie. 

Lauren Oliver again pitched the complete game with 5 Strike-outs and no walks.
