The Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association Under 12 Cal Ripken Al-Stars lost a tough one Thursday night.
The Under 12 guys lost 4-3 to Winterville in the second round of the Cal Ripken Area Four Tournament in Ayden NC.
Stacy Mumford pitched 3 innings and Grayson Hargrave pitched 2.

The U12 All-stars will face SW Edgecombe in an elimination game Friday at 5.
