Chaloner Middle School baseball closed out their 2015 season at Doyle field Monday afternoon hosting Cornerstone Christian.

Chaloner Middle School closed out their baseball season with a 16-9 victory over Cornerstone Christian.

Jake Van Dam pitched 3 excellent hitless innings striking out 8 batters and only walking 2 to help CMS grab a 16-0 lead before leaving the game. CMS relief pitching struggles and errors in the field (also a few hits including a triple) led Cornerstone on a comeback in the fourth inning.

The Jackets finally grab a 3rd out to end the comeback. Brandon Collier lead the offense with an inside the park homerun, a single, and 2 RBI’s. Jake Van Dam, Cameron, Carson Neal, Cameron Wilson, Dylan Jenkins, Matt Williams, and Matt Isles all had one hit for the Jackets.
