The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets women's soccer team fell to second place in the 2A NCC Thursday.

The Jackets fell to South Granville  in overtime 2-3.

Roanoke Rapids & South Granville were tied 1-1 at half-time, then tied 2-2 at the end of regulation. In the second over-time South Granville scored for the win.

Harley Shearin scored both goals with one assist by Chloe Wilson.

Roanoke Rapids overall record is now 9-2-1 and 6-2 in Conference p[lay.
