Roanoke Rapids High Varsity baseball defeated Franklinton in Varsity baseball action by a score of 12-2 in 6 innings
Colby Warren picked up the win on the mound pitching 4 scoreless innings of relief giving up no hits and striking out 8 batters.
The Yellow Jackets pounded out 11 hits on the night. Marcus Allen had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Colby Warren and Jarret Williamson also had 2 hits each.
Head coach Mark Snead stated, "This was our best game of the year. We really came together as a team tonight. I am proud of the way we played."
RRHS improves to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference. The next game for the Yellow Jackets is Thursday at NCSSM at 4pm.
