Arts on the Avenue returns Thursday

With the success of the premier event last year, Arts on the Avenue returns Thursday.

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:

Two people wanted in the murder of a farm worker were last seen at McDonald’s on Roanoke Avenue Sunday.

Three men were charged Sunday in the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver on Vine Street last week.
