Halifax JV girls earn win to close regular season

Halifax Academy basketball teams closed their 2016-17 regular season out on the road in Greenville to face the Oakwood School.

Halifax Academy JV Lady Vikings earned their first win of the season beating Oakwood 24-12.

Halifax Stats:

Megan Cobb scored 10 points; 9 rebounds

Kayla Gaertner scored 7 points; 9 rebounds

Kallie Barnes scored 4 points; 2 rebounds

Allison Green scored 2 points;1 rebound

Grace Storey scored 1 point;1 rebound

 

Post game comments by Halifax JV girls head coach Michelle Garriss, "The girls worked together and played smart tonight. I am so proud of all the girls working hard tonight to get this win."

 

 

 

Halifax Academy JV boys beat Oakwood 52-44.

All four Halifax teams will start the CIC conference tournament Tuesday February 7th and brackets will be posted before that date.
