Weldon seeks info on beer theft

The Weldon Police Department is investigating a larceny which occurred at New Dixie Mart located at 1617 Julian R. Allsbrook Highway in Weldon on December 31 around 10:45 pm.

Lieutenant Chris Davis said in a statement the man in the photos took a case of beer into the men's restroom and took six bottles out, apparently putting them in the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt or jacket and in his pants pockets.
