Silence from possible witnesses is hampering an investigation into a shooting death which occurred outside a club near Littleton in August.

Investigators say there was a fight outside a Highway 158 club before shots were fired that killed a Weldon man Saturday morning.

Mr. Jeffrey G. Cotton, 21, of Weldon, North Carolina, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011.

A 21-year-old Weldon man was shot and killed in the parking of a club outside Littleton this morning.
