Linda Shadrick Banty, 75, of Littleton, NC died Saturday, April 17, 2021, at UNC Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Mrs. Banty was born in Halifax County, NC, the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Shadrick and Nellie Norton Shadrick. 

She was the widow of Ronald William Banty, also preceding her in death was a sister, Patricia “Peggy” Lucas and a brother David Lee Shadrick. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are: two daughters, Rhonda Banty Dahlem and her husband, Gene and Trina Banty Hodges and her husband, John, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; four sisters, Betty Widrig of Lawrenceville, VA, Barbara Jones and her husband, Ronald “Butch” Jones of Greenville, NC, Judy Hummel of Southport, NC, and Teresa White and her husband, Tommy of Rocky Mount, NC; a brother, Jackie Shadrick and his wife, Nancy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; five grandchildren, Luke Dahlem of Wilmington, NC, Hannah Blaire Dahlem of Boone, NC, Bradley Bender, Georgia Woodruff and Wright Medlin, Savannah Woodruff and Jordan Martin all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; three great grandchildren Natalie and Brooklyn Woodruff and Grayson Martin all of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Linda loved her church family, singing in the choir, and loved living at the lake. She enjoyed beach trips with her family and cleaning her house.

The Family will receive at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, Friday, April 23, 2021, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at Victory Baptist Church, Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jeremy Kobernat officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

The Family requests memorial donations be made to: Victory Baptist Church Missions.
