Roanoke Valley healthcare providers in conjunction with the North Carolina Telehealth Network Association are encouraging residents to take a survey to determine broadband accessibility.

Halifax County Health Department Director Bruce Robistow said the main objective of the survey is related to improving healthcare access in the area.

The survey can be found at this link and it should be done on a computer. If there is no computer then a phone can be used.

“We need to know what you have at home then we can establish an inventory so we can provide an appropriate business plan with the hope of getting available grant dollars,” Robistow said. “One of our biggest issues is access. We can do a good portion of providing healthcare via telehealth.”
