Martha Williamson Wilkins Keeter 69, of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday September 16, 2022.

She was a native of Roanoke Rapids and was the daughter of the late, Charles Ernest Williamson, Jr and Helen Vaughan Williamson.

Martha was a 1971 Graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and furthered her education at Halifax Community College and ECU.

Martha had many interests at times in her life, she liked to bowl, once having a 300 game, playing cards, Tennis, singing, being involved in the Women’s circle at First United Methodist Church and doing cross stitch. She loved decorating, Especially at Holidays, but most of all she loved her family and having them all together. She had a quick wit and a great personality. 

Surviving is her husband, Eddie Keeter, her sons, Scott Wilkins and his wife, Kati of Clayton, Matthew Brett Wilkins of Roanoke Rapids and their father, Keith Wilkins of Fayetteville; sister, Jennifer Williamson Stewart of Roanoke Rapids; her brothers, Charles Ernest Williamson, III of Roanoke Rapids and Gregory Neal Williamson and Hannah Williamson of Colerain; her granddaughter, Abby Wilkins; niece, Lyndsay Stewart and nephews, Hunter Stewart, Jacob Williamson and Jarret Williamson; four stepsons, Doug Keeter, III and his wife, Jennifer Lee Keeter of Roanoke Rapids, Christopher Blair Keeter and his wife, Shelley R. Keeter of Raleigh, Walter Bradford Keeter and his wife, Elizabeth of Winterville and Justin Blake Keeter and his wife Kelly of Oak Ridge; her step grandchildren, Douglas E. Keeter VI, Caimen Joseph “C J” Keeter, Audrey Keeter, Beckett E. Keeter, Baylor M. Keeter, Brody T. Keeter and Madlyn Keeter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 23, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Tracy Sexton officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
